Hello!
I'm Gail Zeigler
Founder of
Halo Virtual Solutions
I'm dedicated to simplifying the management of your business. Whether it's handling customer service inquiries or efficiently managing your inbox, I'm here to lighten your workload and streamline your daily tasks.
Let me work in your business,
so you can work on your business.
I was born and raised in the southern United States where I still reside along with my daughter, Jada.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Political Science with a minor in Business. Additionally, I dedicated three years to a graduate program focused on International Studies, specializing in the Spanish language, as well as Latin American history and culture.
After spending several years in local call centers, I discovered the world of remote contact center work in 2017 and immediately embraced the opportunity to work from home.
Since then, I've had the privilege of working with four different companies specializing in remote work, gaining experience across various customer support channels, and representing numerous brands. However, I yearned for greater autonomy over my schedule, leading me to venture into virtual assistance.
With a keen aptitude for administrative tasks and a passion for aiding others in achieving their goals, I found that becoming a virtual assistant was the perfect fit, especially considering my desire to start my own business and assist family members and friends who were navigating the challenges of small business ownership.
My mission is to support online and small businesses by effectively handling their customer support inquiries and managing their inboxes, freeing up their time to concentrate on other tasks and business growth.
Ensuring clients can confidently entrust me with these critical aspects of their operations is essential, assuring them of seamless customer satisfaction and email correspondence. I define my service as "dedicated customer support" and "dedicated email management" to emphasize my commitment to taking full ownership of these responsibilities and alleviating clients from these burdens.
I'm somewhat of a techie and very interested in the growth of modern technology. However, my abilities lie beyond coding or programming; instead, I find fulfillment in staying abreast of technological advancements and providing support in a tech-adjacent role.
I derive satisfaction from working behind the scenes, contributing in a backend and support role that allows me to leverage my tech-savvy skills to guide user experiences and troubleshoot technical issues, all while remaining near innovation in the tech industry.
Currently, I am working with a software developer who created three cloud-based accounting software platforms designed for three distinct industries: notaries public, real estate agents, and rental property owners. My role involves delivering dedicated customer support Monday through Friday, managing each platform's support inbox, and promptly addressing customer tickets. In addition to handling general inquiries, processing refunds and cancellations, and troubleshooting technical issues, I proactively identify and communicate trending issues such as bugs to the client.
Also, I've expanded my services with this client to include digital marketing projects, overseeing social media management for two of the platforms (resulting in growth in online followers for both platforms.), enhancing tutorial videos for YouTube, and crafting informative articles for the website's Learning Center.
In my home office, you'll find a comprehensive setup, including a primary laptop, backup laptop, computer monitor, a dedicated wired webcam, as well as a wired mouse and keyboard. Additionally, I have a printer and utilize a cable modem provided by the fast and reliable Spectrum Internet service, along with a dual-band router. For added reliability, both the modem and router are connected to a UPS for backup power.
During my downtime, I like to watch TV and movies. I’m a telefile (the less-respected cousin of the cinefile) and a big fangirl who enjoys anything released by Star Trek, Marvel, DC, Transformers, and Disney/Pixar. I also love watching a good British TV show from time to time like Downton Abbey or Outlander. Over the years, I've watched a lot of great TV series and I rewatch them whenever I get a chance. I enjoy engaging in thought-provoking discussions about my favorite series with fellow enthusiasts.
When I’m not watching TV, I enjoy learning new skills, doing home improvement projects, and pursuing financial independence. In fact, I am actively working toward building a couple of businesses this year.
